Up for Brisness: CATO International Women’s Day 2024 event set for Sunshine State

The Council of Australian Tour Operators (CATO) will stage its International Women’s Day Luncheon at Brisbane’s award-winning Calile Hotel on 7 March 2024, inviting the industry to come together and celebrate empowerment.

The second annual IWD event recognises the contributions of CATO’s female members at the forefront of shaping the travel industry.

UN Women Australia’s official theme for International Women’s Day 2024 is ‘Count Her In: Accelerating Gender Equality Through Economic Empowerment’.

The IWD theme will examine the pathways to greater economic inclusion for women and girls everywhere.

At the event, a panel of industry guest speakers will lead a lively discussion about their personal journeys and insights.

The luncheon will include a three-course sit-down lunch and beverages, prizes and networking opportunities.
