Seven was the lucky number of Helloworld agents to win a spot on the Ultimate Northern California Road Trip famil with Viva Holidays and United Airlines as they set off to the Golden State last month.
The lucky group of Aussie travel agents landed in San Francisco on 7 October to travel to soak in the northern highlights, including Yosemite Mariposa County, Mammoth Lakes, South Lake Tahoe and Sonoma County.
Viva Holidays took the competition winners over to see the Golden State first-hand, renowned for its hiking, kayaking and mountain biking travel experiences.

The group visited Glacier Point, took part in wine tasting, star-gazed at El Cap Meadow and kayaked in South Tahoe, as well as visited Yosemite National Park, which is an evergrowing destination for adventure seekers and nature enthusiasts alike.
The trip was hosted by Viva Holidays in partnership with United Airlines, Visit Mammoth Lakes, Sonoma Country Tourism, Yosemite Mariposa County Tourism Bureau and Visit Lake Tahoe.
United Airlines started a daily service between Brisbane and San Francisco on 28 Oct 2023 after announcing its network expansion, including an increase in nonstop flights between the United States and Australia.
