Billed as the world’s most ultra-luxury entertainment resort, Atlantis The Royal is Dubai’s newest property with a distinctive façade that will add to the city skyline. A first look at the resort’s exteriors and interiors highlights the views of the Arabian Sea and Palm Island from the 48-storey-high, 795-room property’s six towers. There will also be 17 restaurants and bars, including Heston Blumenthal’s inaugural cocktail bar, and the Cloud 22 outdoor entertainment experience with VIP cabanas featuring private plunge pools, a swim-up cocktail bar and a unique DJ booth. Reservations are now open to book stays from 2023.

Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) has welcomed 11 new boutique hotels to its worldwide portfolio, including its first property in Langkawi, Malaysia – The Danna Langkawi, and additional hotels in Mexico and Europe, such as the 19-room, 19-century BOTANIQ Castle of Tura near Budapest. SLH has also debuted its Private Collection of 76 villas and accommodations across 23 countries, which offer the privacy of a villa with the amenities and services of a boutique hotel.

Six Senses tops Luxury Intelligence Ranking for third consecutive year

Six Senses was selected for “an authentic blend of wellness, sustainability, warm hospitality and crafted guest experiences”.

Six Senses has won the top spot in the annual World’s Best Luxury Hotel Brands report from Luxury Travel Intelligence (LTI), a global members-only organisation for affluent travellers. The report uses an algorithm that looks at 128 touchpoints in the luxury hotel sector using 360-degree research into brands. Six Senses was recognised for the third consecutive year for its ability to deliver, “passion, commitment, ethos and values, as well as the quality of its management and staff”.
