Travellers headed to and from Melbourne can take advantage of the new-look PARKROYAL Melbourne Airport – MEL’s most conveniently located hotel – with refreshed interiors, guestrooms and amenities, including family rooms and full fitness facilities.
PARKROYAL Melbourne Airport is the only hotel directly connected to MEL’s terminals via undercover pedestrian skybridges, making it a convenient alternative for business and leisure travellers.
It also recently started offering Short Stay Hourly Accommodation between 7am and 7pm with a three-hour pass available to book online or via the hotel for AUD$109.
After its recent $30 million refurb, the 276-room airport hotel now features improved luggage access, hanging space and in-room minibars, while the 66sqm Spa Suites include separate lounge areas and ensuite bathrooms with spa baths.
All eight 44sqm family rooms have been refreshed, offering a king-sized bed and two single beds.
There’s also a 12m heated indoor pool, spa, sauna and steam room plus a fully equipped 24/7 fitness centre where travellers can unwind during their stay or between flights.
PARKROYAL Melbourne Airport General Manager Cameron Mead said the hotel offers a convenient premium stay to cater for MEL’s record number of international and domestic travellers with recent tracking showing 95 per cent and 90 per cent recovery of pre-pandemic levels, respectively.
