Whatever it is, Air New Zealand should probably keep doing what it’s doing because it has been named Australia’s favourite international airline, again.

According to new Roy Morgan research, the Kiwi carrier received an 88.8 percent satisfaction rating among Aussie customers, ahead of Singapore Airlines (88.3 percent) and Emirates (87.3 percent).

It’s not the first time Air New Zealand has come out on top among Australian travellers, with the airline winning a string of monthly victories in the category.

Although they didn’t quite make it to the top of the list, Singapore was recognised as one of the biggest improvers over the past year thanks to recent operational improvements in the market such as the introduction of a lie-flat Business Class product to Brisbane and the rolling out of ‘Book the Cook‘ service in new Aussie cities.

Also recognised as a major improver in 2017 was Etihad, which saw its customer satisfaction rating climb by 2.3 percent and Cathay Pacific, who’s rating climbed by 1.9 percent.

Out of the Australian international airlines, Qantas remained on top with a rating of 80.2 percent, ahead of Virgin Australia on 74.9 percent.
