Naturally KarryOn were there to take a sip from the Kava bowl and join the scrum too for this momentous occasion.

The Olympic Hotel in Paddington, right across the road from the Moore Park stadium has been re-named “The Flying Fijian” for the weekend. The pub’s uber close proximity to Allianz Stadium makes it an ideal location for fans to kick back and support the Fijian (or any other) team this weekend in Sydney.

Fiji Airways cabin crew will be on hand with plenty of smiles to serve punters ice chilled Fiji Bitter as well as lunch and dinner from a Fiji-inspired menu designed in collaboration with celebrity Fijian chef and Fiji Airways’ culinary ambassador, Lance Seeto.

Rugby supporters (or sport fans alike) will also be able to take part in a Kava ceremony over the weekend.

Ben Ryan, the coach of the Fiji 7s and Fiji Airways’ newest ambassador, said that he’d love for his team’s huge fan base in Sydney to come and support the team whilst they’re in town:

“Australia has the second largest Fijian population outside of Fiji and we are hoping to see everyone come down and support the Flying Fijians.”

Punters to the pub also have a chance at winning two return tickets to anywhere on the Fiji Airways network, courtesy of Fiji Airways. All they need to do is sign up to the Fijian Airways’ newsletter, Bula Mail – that’s it.
