Love Hong Kong? Cathay Pacific has just revealed that it will offer aspiring visitors two adult return economy tickets for the price of one between any of the carrier’s Australian ports and Hong Kong.
Sponsored by Hong Kong International Airport, the new Companion Offer works like this… two passengers in the same booking and flying together in economy class will only pay the full price for the first ticket; for the second ticket, they will only pay taxes and surcharges.
Sound good? Available from today, the deal will run until 30 August 2024 for travel between now and 31 March 2025, with tickets starting from $1,560 return.

The catch is, the offer will only be available for the first 6,500 bookings. So you’ll likely need to get in fast to jump on this offer to one of the world’s most exciting destinations.
The minimum and maximum stay period for the deal is between two and 30 days.
Cathay Pacific currently flies between Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth and Hong Kong International Airport.

In June, in big news for Australia-Hong Kong travel, Cathay Pacific announced it would increase the number of Brisbane and Perth flights by 75 per cent later this year.
Two weeks ago, the carrier also revealed that it would resume its Cairns-HK seasonal service between December and March.
In 2023, Cathay Pacific announced it would be going by the single moniker ‘Cathay’ for its global master brand and retaining ‘Cathay Pacific’ for its airline.

The Hong Kong carrier also launched its new premium travel lifestyle brand with the first global campaign in three years.
