Emirates and Collingwood Football Club have extended their iconic partnership for another five years, marking a 30-year collaboration by 2029.

Emirates and Collingwood Football Club have extended their iconic partnership for another five years, marking a 30-year collaboration by 2029.

The renewed deal ensures Emirates remains the premier partner of Collingwood, with the airline’s logo continuing to feature on players’ guernseys and shorts.

Collingwood members will also enjoy year-round discounts on flights across Emirates’ vast network of over 140 destinations.

Emirates’ Divisional Vice President for Australasia Barry Brownsaid the carrier is proud of the partnership and “ excited for what the next chapter will bring”.

“Our partnership with the Collingwood Football Club extends almost as long as our presence in Australia and reflects our steadfast commitment to Melbourne, a city which shares our enthusiasm and passion for sports,” he remarked.

“Emirates and the Collingwood Football Club are both recognised for their excellence, creating a powerful synergy that extends across the sports and aviation industries, with the Magpies’ long history of wins and remarkable successes aligning perfectly well with Emirates’ myriad of accolades.”

Collingwood Football Club CEO Craig Kelly echoed Brown’s remarks, saying the organisation is thrilled with the extended deal. 

“Since partnering in 1999, the unity between Collingwood and Emirates has grown from strength to strength and has developed into one of the strongest partnerships in Australian sport,” Kelly stated.

“30 years of partnership is a huge achievement and one we’re extremely proud of. We thank the entire Emirates family for their commitment and support, and we look forward to what the future has in store for this partnership over the next five years.”

EK’s renewed partnership with Collingwood FC, Australia’s largest sports club by value and membership, is part of the carrier’s global sports sponsorship portfolio, which includes the Australian Open, ICC Cricket World Cup, and major football clubs like Real Madrid and Arsenal.

The Dubai-based airline operates 77 weekly services from five Australian cities, recently reinstating its pre-pandemic capacity to Perth and announcing a third Dubai-Melbourne service starting 30 March 2025. 

EK also recently resumed its daily flights between Adelaide and Dubai, completing its post-pandemic network return in Australia.
