An airport located in eastern Russia has gained international attention for one really hilarious reason and it has everything to do with a flying bear.
You read right.
Khabarovsk Airport recently unveiled its new logo as part of an airport image redesign.
Since the reveal, the logo has been mocked world wide.
Why?
Because it has a flying bear.
The white bear has its arms spread out, its head tilted upwards and it is seemingly soaring gracefully through the dark blue (could be purple) sky.
While the Russian bear is a widespread symbol for Russia (it is often used in cartoons and was even in a few plays during the 16th century), it seems incredibly strange to have the animal flying in a logo.
Of course, once the public got its hand on a copy of the logo they started to twist it and create a couple of hilarious memes and images.

Nice one Jeremy Vine. We think Leo and the Bear make a much cuter couple on the bow of the Titanic.

Or how about ‘had a little too much to drink’ bear? We know it’s childish but you can’t help but giggle at what people come up with.

Looking good! One user reimagined the open arm/flying position to recreate a stripper bear spinning around the role.
