Jetstar has a fleet of newness on show today with the rollout of its brand-new crew uniform and Black Friday sale as well as welcoming its first Airbus A320neo aircraft as part of a major fleet-wide refresh for the low-cost carrier.
After a wardrobe reveal earlier this year, more than 6,000 Jetstar cabin crew, pilots and airport staff across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Japan stepped out in the new uniform today.
Designed by Australian fashion designer Genevieve Smart of Ginger & Smart fame, the new uniform is the first update since the airline launched 20 years ago.
In addition, Jetstar’s first next-generation Airbus A320neo aircraft touched down in Melbourne after a ferry flight from Toulouse, France this week.
The aircraft’s features mirror the LCC’s new A321neo LRs with 188 ergonomic seats, extra-large overhead bins, in-seat USB power sockets and seat-back device holders.
The quieter and more fuel-efficient aircraft is the first of its type to be registered in Australia and will start flying domestic routes from Cairns to the Sunshine Coast from 3 December 2024.

Jetstar has also dropped its biggest ‘Return For Free Sale of 2024’ sale for Black Friday with free return fares across more than 100 different routes for three days.
