Korean Air has introduced an updated logo and aircraft livery in its first major brand overhaul since 1984. The new corporate identity reveal also announced new inflight menus and upgraded onboard services.
The airline unveiled a redesigned version of its signature ‘Taegeuk’ symbol, reflecting its heritage and contemporary aesthetics alongside a bold logotype, symbolising its position as South Korea’s flagship carrier.
The modernised logo integrates the Taegeuk symbol with ‘KOREAN AIR’ in dark blue to reinforce the airline’s prestigious corporate identity along with a new 3D motif that will be used on key customer touchpoints.

The new livery and the airline’s latest Prestige Suites 2.0 were unveiled on a Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner aircraft during an event at the carrier’s Seoul hangar HQ on 11 March 2025.
The aircraft livery features an enlarged logo and symbol for greater visual impact, preserving the signature sky-blue colour as well as a newly developed metallic paint.

Korean Air also introduced an upgraded inflight menu to align with its new corporate identity with expanded selections for premium classes, signature Korean cuisine and luxury brand tableware.
Economy-class meals options have been also expanded beyond the traditional beef bibimbap to include salmon bibimbap and spicy stir-fried octopus with pork.

In addition, first-class bedding will be supplied by Italian luxury label Frette alongside new premium class amenity pouches from the British Graff brand.
The upgraded inflight dining and services commenced on 10 routes from 12 March 2025, rolling out across all long-haul services, including from Sydney and Brisbane, by June.
Korean Air recently completed its purchase of Asiana Airlines, expanding its global reach.
