What flyers can experience

From 1 February 2023, Delta became the first global US airline to offer free wi-fi to passengers on most domestic mainline flights.

International and regional flyers can expect the same service across the entire network by the end of 2024.

The free wi-fi service is available to all Delta SkyMiles members, while all passengers can enjoy complimentary mobile messaging via iMessage, WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger.

The carrier will utilise its A350 aircraft on its Sydney and Auckland flights. SYD services will feature the airline’s Delta One product (with fully private suites), Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort+ and Main Cabin seats.

International passengers will also have the opportunity to experience Delta Sky Way including the new Delta Sky Club lounge at LAX’s Terminal 3, the first phase of which opened to flyers in April 2022.
