Qantas’ premium flyers can now sit back, relax and enjoy some private pre-flight space when flying out of San Francisco’s International Airport, thanks to Cathay Pacific.
The two airlines – Qantas and Cathay Pacific – have come to an agreement that’ll allow the Flying Kangaroo’s guests to access Cathay’s lounge in San Francisco’s international gateway.
Before hopping on a non-stop flight to Australia (daily Boeing 747 service to Sydney and four-times-weekly 787-9 flight to Melbourne), Business Class and other Platinum members can head to the Fourth Floor of the South Departure Hall for free access to food and beverages, lounge seating, workstations, USB ports and wi-fi.
Qantas flyers can also enjoy a refreshing shower in Cathay Pacific’s shower suites.
Yeow! Nothing says fancy like a shower at the airport.
Customers eligible for Cathay Pacific Lounge access in San Francisco include those booked for travel in Business Class or have Qantas Platinum One, Platinum or Gold Frequent Flyer status.
Qantas Club members will continue to have access to the Air France/KLM Lounge.
