Qantas has limited-time flight discounts to more than 60 Australian destinations with over one million seats on sale for just 72 hours until 25 July 2024. Sale fares are available for travel between August 2024 and March 2025.
The surprise 72-hour sale is QF’s sixth domestic and regional airfare offer this year so far. It follows previous Australia-wide discounts in April and June 2024 that saw Aussies snag tens of thousands of discounted flights.
The current QF domestic economy sale fares include checked baggage, complimentary food and beverages, free inflight Wi-Fi and seat selection.
FYI: Qantas recently upgraded its domestic economy meal to include hot items on flights of more than two hours’ duration and ice-cream on routes over 3.5 hours, such as Sydney to Perth.
Passengers can snap up sale fares on more than 100 domestic routes, including 40-plus one-way flights for under $160.
These include domestic economy flights from Ballina-Sydney one-way from $109, Gold Coast-Sydney one-way from $119 and Launceston-Melbourne one-way from $119.
Other one-way sale fares featured are Canberra-Melbourne from $169, Maroochydore–Melbourne from $179, Hamilton Island-Sydney from $199 and Alice Springs-Adelaide from $209.
QF said the latest surprise 72-hour sale will help savvy Aussie travellers book and plan their next local getaway.
The sale will run until 11:59pm (AEST) on 25 July 2024, or until seats are sold out.
