Qatar Airways will unveil the latest iteration of its award-winning Qsuite business-class offering at the biennial Farnborough International Airshow for the aerospace and defence industries, taking place in the UK from 22-26 July 2024.
The ‘Qsuite Next Gen’ is Qatar Airways’ latest business-class product and will be the focus of the airline’s presence at the prestigious show, which draws more than 80,000 visitors from around the world.
What we know so far
Highlighted in the airshow’s Qatar Airways Discovery Lounge, the updated Qsuite Next Gen promises more advances in passenger comfort, collaborative and social design elements and dining experiences.
Passengers can also expect the latest tech enhancements such as USB-C and wireless charging along with Bluetooth audio direct to your own headphones.
QR teased a redesign of the Qsuite in March 2024, revealing that it would be unveiled to the public at the airshow.
What in the current Qsuite?
First launched in 2017, Qsuite debuted innovative features such as rear-facing and forward-facing seats with direct aisle access as well as adaptable quad configurations and generous storage.
The fully lie-flat beds feature quilted mattresses, a soft, plush duvet and pillows along with ambient mood lighting.
In addition, the business-class cabin has an on-demand à la carte menu and exclusive Diptyque amenities. With all that already on board, avgeeks are curious to see what Qsuite Next Gen will offer.
Qatar Airways Group CEO Mohammed Al-Meer said: “We are highly anticipating this year’s Farnborough International Airshow and we are confident that the reveal of our latest business class offering will be a huge draw for the global aviation community.”
“We also look forward to welcoming visitors to our installations and on board our aircraft, which will be on display, to experience what we offer.”
