Low-cost carrier Scoot has launched a sale with flights so cheap, the carrier says passengers may end up paying less for their airfare than they might for their new bikini or designer boardshorts.
Scoot’s Salty Sale offers tickets from Perth to Krabi or Phuket, from an itsy-bitsy $169 per way. Depart from the Gold Coast for $189 and from Sydney and Melbourne for $199.
These sale ticket prices are based on FLY fares which include taxes, but bags and food are extra.
Those wanting to fly to Singapore can snag tickets from $149 each way departing Perth, $159 ex Gold Coast and $169 ex Sydney and Melbourne. These are all FLY fares.
Other sandy destinations like Maldives, (from $199 ex Perth, $219 Gold Coast and $229 Sydney and Melbourne), Penang and Langkawi ($159 ex Perth $189 Gold Coast and $199 Sydney and Melbourne) are also on sale.
Athens, and the Greek Islands, the ultimate sunseeker’s paradise is from $329 ex Perth, $339 ex Gold Coast and $349 from Sydney or Melbourne, FLY fare including taxes, pay a bit extra for a FLYBAGEAT fare and enjoy Moussaka, and take a 20KG beach wardrobe.
The sale kicks off 10am Wednesday, November 7 in Perth, noon for Gold Coast, 1 pm in Sydney and Melbourne.
The sale finishes 23:59 Sunday 11th November 2018 in Perth or 01:59 for Gold Coast, and 02:59 in Sydney and Melbourne.
For travel between 10th Feb and 30th March, and 1st May – 15th June 2019, and 25th July – 20th September or 16th October – 30th November 2019 and even up till 5th Feb – 29th March 2020.
