Solomon Airlines has named Airline Rep Services, part of the CVFR Travel Group, as its General Sales Agent (GSA) for Australia.
Adding to its existing partnership with the airline in Fiji, the appointment will see the GSA handle sales, marketing and support services tailored to the Australian market, focusing on travel trade.
In Australia, Solomon Airlines operates from Brisbane, offering two weekly flights to Honiara and a once-weekly service to Munda, a niche destination for diving, fishing and surfing.
It also flies to Vanuatu, including capital Port Vila and Espiritu Santo, which is known for Champagne Beach and its blue swimming holes.
“This represents another feather in the Airline Rep Services cap,” CVFR Travel Group Group COO Nidhi Nijhawan said.
“Airline Rep Services has now proven that it is a leading GSA company in the region. In the coming months we will see the representation business continue to grow as it provides market-leading services”.
