It’s been a long time coming. After it teased the new cabins in early 2023, SWISS has finally pulled back the curtain on its biggest-ever product revamp, revealing new first and business class cabins as part of its ‘SWISS Senses’ experience.
Debuting in October on the airline’s new Airbus A350-900s, the reimagined cabins promise a more personalised, comfortable and calming experience across all classes.
The first long-haul flights will take off for Boston this coming northern winter, with bookings already open for travel from 1 January 2026.
The new A350s will be the first in the airline’s fleet to showcase the full SWISS Senses interior, which spans first, business, premium economy and economy cabins.

So, what’s the focus of the new offering? According to the airline, it’s a blend of human-centric lighting, plush materials, smart tech and a design palette of warm neutrals and deep reds that brings a little chalet charm to the sky.
First class is now all about privacy and elegance. Think suite-style seating with closable doors, lie-flat beds, wireless charging, climate control and massive personal screens. There’s even a two-person suite and a new bathroom inspired by Vals’ mineral springs.
Business class gets a full upgrade too. Travellers can expect lie-flat beds up to 2.2 metres long, aisle access from every seat, plus new seating options including mini-suites for added privacy.
Elsewhere, premium economy retains its popular extra pitch and comfort, while Economy sees smarter, more ergonomic seats, larger entertainment screens and device connectivity via Bluetooth and USB.

Every seat on the A350 will include wireless charging and upgraded inflight entertainment, with connectivity for personal devices.
The new cabin interiors will also be progressively rolled out across the airline’s Airbus A330-300 and Boeing 777-300ER fleets in the years ahead.
“I am delighted that, with the arrival of our new Airbus A350s, we will be able to offer our customers an even more personal, exclusive and individual air travel experience,” SWISS Chief Commercial Officer Heike Birlenbach said at the unveiling in Zurich.

“As a premium airline, we aim to continue to deliver on our quality promise through our SWISS Senses concept. Our new seats are the centrepiece of our new aircraft cabins.
“But SWISS Senses appeals to all the senses – with its special lighting concept, for instance, and also with our new scent that has been specially created for SWISS.
“All in all, SWISS Senses represents the biggest product investment in the history of our company – and a further major milestone for Swiss aviation.”
