YASSSS, she’s Abbi Jacobson aka one half of the hilarious duo – the one with “chocolate brown eyes and the @ss of an angel” – from Comedy Central’s Broad City!

Abbi and five of her funniest comedian colleagues will join Virgin Atlantic for a first-of-its-kind comedy event on 28 September 2017 (three days waahhhh!) to celebrate the carrier’s recently completed fleet-wide wi-fi installation.

The six comedians will fly with Virgin Atlantic from London to six US destinations (NYC, Seattle, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Boston and LA). Throughout each flight, they’ll perform unique comedy ‘sets’ by posting tweets and Instagram stories to their accounts using the hashtag #LiveFromVirgin.

To support the unique concept, Abbi said she’s using the inflight Comedy Festival as an opportunity to “experiment, take some risks and see what happens”.

“I’m really excited about this project and the creative control that Virgin Atlantic is giving me, not only over the lineup I’m building but the form my performance takes.”

The Comedy Festival marks the first installment of #LiveFromVirgin, a new and ongoing platform designed to highlight the magic of connectivity on Virgin Atlantic flights.

To tune into the #LiveFromVirgin Comedy Festival, follow the hashtag on September 28, as well as @virginatlantic and @AbbiJacobson on Twitter and Instagram.
