What can you expect on Qantas this Christmas?

It's that time of the year again, and Qantas is getting its guests into the holiday spirit with Christmas-inspired menus on board and in lounges these holidays.

It’s that time of the year again, and Qantas is getting its guests into the holiday spirit with Christmas-inspired menus on board and in lounges these holidays.

Special dishes are being introduced as well as Christmas cocktails plus flyers can spend their inflight time watching holiday movies for the family OR try out the airline’s first Christmas Market designed to take out of the stress of last-minute shopping.

Here’s what you can expect;

Sydney and Canberra Domestic Lounges will have fresh Christmas trees and on 16 December from 2-6pm, Qantas will hold a Christmas Market in the Sydney Qantas Club selling a variety of products such as signed cookbooks from Rockpool with Neil Perry, Bird & Knoll scarves and sauces, relishes and chocolates from Simon Johnson.

The Qantas Christmas Cocktail

The Qantas Christmas Cocktail – featuring cinnamon quills, cloves, cardamom pods, golden syrup and mint – will be served in all Domestic Lounges from 16 – 30 December, and on On Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day, the carrier will serve rum balls in Qantas Clubs and fruit mince pies and ham off the bone in Business Lounges.

The festive Signature Pavlova

In International Lounges, guests can purchase the Qantas Christmas Cocktail from 16 – 30 December in all Business and First Lounges, including Hong Kong, Singapore, Los Angeles and Australia; and eat turkey, ham off the bone and rumballs.

Over the Christmas period, domestic inflight will offer fruit mince pies in Business and Lindt reindeers in Economy and feature films such as Love Actually, Elf and Home Alone.

There’ll also be boarding music featuring popular Christmas songs from Mariah Carey and The Jackson 5. Oh yes we’re feeling it!

On international flights, the carrier will have a selection of fruit mince pies, shortbread and chocolates in First and Business, and chocolates in Premium Economy and Economy on Christmas Day.
