Comedian Anthony “Lehmo” Lehmann will return as the Master of Ceremonies for the National Travel Industry Awards (NTIA 2024).

Known for his sharp humour and engaging style, ATIA says Lehmo’s presence is expected to elevate the event once again.

Lehmann is a familiar face from shows like Utopia and The Project, and previously co-hosted Gold FM’s top breakfast show.

Sponsored by Gow-Gates Insurance Brokers, Lehmo’s return promises a lively evening.

Meanwhile, Helloworld has been revealed as the evening’s entertainment sponsor, aiming to deliver a memorable night.

NTIA 2024 will take place on Saturday, 26 October, at ICC Sydney.

“We are delighted to be a part of NTIA again this year,” Helloworld Travel CEO and Managing Director Andrew Burnes AO said.

“ATIA plays an important role in our industry, and it is terrific to once again be acknowledging the achievements and dedication of everyone involved across the Australian travel landscape.

“We extend our best wishes to the finalists across all the categories and look forward to celebrating together on the night.”

Tom Gow-Gates, Executive Director of MC sponsor Gow-Gates Insurance Brokers said, “We are thrilled to support NTIA once again and to sponsor Anthony, ‘Lehmo’.”

“He brought energy and laughter to the event last year, and we know this year will be just as memorable,” he added.

“It’s an honour to be involved again, especially with our long-standing connection and commitment to the travel industry, spanning more than 40 years.

“At Gow-Gates, we’re proud to support such a great night of celebration and recognition for all the hard work in this incredible sector.”

Meanwhile, Lehmann said, “I can’t wait to get back behind the mic for NTIA soon and to celebrate travel with everyone”.

“Last year, I was trying to work out why everyone was in such a great mood, and then I remembered that they work in the best possible industry – they send people on amazing holidays and travel heaps themselves. What a life!” he remarked.

ATIA CEO Dean Long added, “Lehmo was a huge hit at NTIA 2023”.

“And we know that our NTIA 2024 attendees will be delighted to have him back,” he stated.

“He has a terrific sense of humour and is one of Australia’s finest comedians.

“Thank you to Helloworld Travel Limited for sponsoring the entertainment and Gow-Gates Insurance Brokers for sponsoring the MC. Without you, travel’s night of nights wouldn’t be the same.”
