Bali-bound Australians have a new way to upgrade their travels, with the opening of a revamped and expanded airport lounge at Denpasar International Airport.
Previously known as the Premier Lounge, the new-look Tujuwan Airport Lounge at Bali Airport promises an elevated pre-flight experience.
Blending modern luxury with local touches, the lounge offers 257 seats across two levels, including two VIP rooms for extra privacy.
According to the state-owned company that operates the lounge, PT Jasa Angkasa Semesta (JAS), guests can indulge in buffet dining, free-flow drinks and and shower facilities.
Additional amenities include a smoking room, business centre and digital access, which allows flyers to scan their boarding passes to gain entry.
JAS CEO Herman Prayitno highlighted the six-month renovation as a significant step in enhancing passenger experiences.
“We are very enthusiastic about presenting a lounge that looks fresher with a futuristic concept and interior design that blends the natural beauty of Bali at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Bali Airport,” he remarked.
“We hope that the presence of Tujuwan Lounge can improve service to passengers, make every trip more memorable and provide a new standard for a unique and exclusive experience.”
Wahyudi, Regional CEO of Angkasa Pura Indonesia, which manages airports in Indonesia, said the new facility would enhance travel through Bali’s main gateway.
“We understand that air travel is not only about transportation, but also a comprehensive experience,” they stated.
“The presence of Tujuwan Lounge is expected to provide a more comfortable, exclusive and enjoyable atmosphere for passengers.”

Located airside on the mezzanine floor, the lounge operates from 7am to 2am every day.
