John Veitch, the Australian CEO for The Travel Corporation, has tendered his resignation to take up a role outside of the travel industry. John will be staying on for a period of time to ensure a smooth transition.

Brett Tollman, TTC’s global Chief Executive said, “We thank John for his leadership and positive impact in leading TTC Australia these past 4.5 years. We will miss him and wish him the very best in his new career, as he embarks on a leadership role outside the travel industry for new opportunities and challenges.

We are currently reviewing the needs and structure of our business here, as we look forward to an exciting new decade ahead. We are considering our options and various candidates. We will make another announcement soon.”

“It certainly wasn’t an easy decision to leave TTC and all that it stands for, with its passion and drive for the best, most innovative customer experiences and to be the best trade partner in Australia, and the amazing work done by their internally funded non-profit, The TreadRight Foundation. I’d also like to thank Brett Tollman and the Tollman family for giving me the opportunity to work alongside the best people and brands in the industry.”
