Contiki brings wacky robot restaurant to Sydney

Contiki is bringing a bit of Japan to Sydney this month in preparation of its first tour of the destination, which sets off in March.

The youth travel brand is setting up a unique pop-up restaurant experience called ‘Robots Unrivalled‘. The restaurant is inspired by Tokyo’s outrageous Robot Restaurant.

The two-day pop-up has been specially created to promote Contiki’s brand new, 13-day Japanese tour ‘Japan Unrivalled’, which departs on 14 March.

As part of the tour, lucky Contiki travellers will visit the famous Robot Restaurant in Tokyo.

Robots Unrivalled promises to deliver a mind-bending slice of Japanese culture in pop-up format and is certain to be one of the weirdest, wackiest and most wonderful dining experiences you’ll ever have.

The kitsch cabaret show will include Japanese burlesque set to thumping J-Pop tunes, glowsticks, lasers, dragons and of course robots, as they do battle for the sheer enjoyment of the audience.

Pre-registered tickets will be available for purchase from 9.00am today. Any remaining tickets will be made available to the general public from 3.00pm.

Tickets are priced from $40 per person and sessions times run at 5.30pm, 7.30pm and 9.30pm.

Dinner includes a Japanese Bento Box. To secure your seat visit www.contiki.com/robotsunrivalled
