High-end, small group touring arrives in Spain & Italy with On the Go Tours

On the Go Tours says it saw a gap in the market for high-end, small group touring in three European countries - Spain, Italy and Portugal -, so it decided to be the one to fill it in 2018.

On the Go Tours says it saw a gap in the market for high-end, small group touring in three European countries – Spain, Italy and Portugal -, so it decided to be the one to fill it in 2018.

The operator will venture into Spain, Italy and Portugal for the first time next year, in a bid to offer travellers more touring choices in the countries.

Although the three destinations are relatively popular among tourists (so-much-so they’ve experienced issued with overcrowding over the past year), according to the brand’s General Manager of Australia, Natalie James, there’s a lack of opportunity for luxury tourists to travel in smaller groups.

“We saw a gap in the market for tours that appeal to travellers who want to be a part of a small group tour which has a mid to high range offering and takes a step off the beaten track.”

In Italy, On the Go Tours offers two itineraries – Italian Expresso and Renaissance & Riveria – taking in must-visit sites over seven and 10 days.

Travellers on the Barcelona to Madrid tour will explore northern Spain’s renowned attractions such as its historic wineries, Michelin-star restaurants and Spanish architecture.

Over in Portugal, On the Go Tours’ guests will spend a week travelling from Pena Palace in the foothills of the Sintra Mountains to the wine country of Porto, while also enjoying a night in a Portuguese pousada.
