Hold up – the company, which was founded in Australia some 30 years ago, only just released its first dedicated Australia brochure?

 

This truly is a moment to be celebrated.

Scenic today unveiled the 2016/17 Australia program with a full collection of domestic tours across the country.

The program includes tours around Western Australia and the Northern Territory, there’s trips in Tasmania and Norfolk Island and reintroduced next year is the up and coming destination, South Australia.

Among the standout itineraries for the rising state is the new 11 Day Taste of South Australia featuring destinations never before visited by Scenic such as the Flinders Ranges and Barossa Valley. There’s also highlights such as the 4wd trip to Wilpena Pound and a tasting day of all local cheeses, honey and wine on Kangaroo Island.

Scenic has also tweaked existing tours in the new brochure to offer new experiences such as the addition of The Ghan on trip from Alice Springs to Darwin.

Plus there are a number of new Enrich experiences including visiting the Boab prison tree with a traditional land owner in Fitzroy Crossing; a unique dining experience set amidst the ‘Field of Light’ art installation which is only at Uluru for 2016; and a tour of author Colleen McCullough’s house in Norfolk Island including morning tea with one of her friends.
