Fiji’s Plantation Island Resort has opened the doors to guests following a stunning FJ$16 million development creating a new Arrivals Bure, Restaurant, Pool, Bar and 40 new Ocean View Hotel Rooms.

The new arrivals precinct has a large arrivals Bure with views of Malolo Lailai Bay while the new Tavola Restaurant & Bar features a gourmet menu from renowned Fijian Executive Chef Mo Arun.

Just adjacent to Tavola Restaurant & Bar is the beachfront pool which is now the first pool to use a Bionizer in Fiji. This means the Tavola Pool uses low-level currents that pass between two copper and silver electrodes to sanitise the pool for a
chemical-free swimming experience.

Guests can stay in one of the 40 new Ocean View Hotel Rooms that are mere steps away from the ocean itself.

Small families and couples get a hotel-style room option that creates a different experience than staying in the resort’s numerous stand-alone bures.

Each room also has a spectacular view of Malolo Lailai Bay.

Thes new rooms also give Plantation Island Resort the title of the largest resort in the Mamanuca Islands with a total of 196 rooms at the property.

“As the first stage of our resort-wide redevelopment, we couldn’t be happier with the result” Raffe
Hotels & Resorts CEO Bradley Robinson said.

“The architecture is quite striking and the build quality is excellent. We can now offer our guests a seamless and more comfortable arrival experience as well as a fabulous beachside dining option,” he said.

“The new Hotel rooms have been an instant hit with the first guests to stay in them, adding a great quality and very comfortable option to our more traditional bure style accommodation”.
