Class of 2023: NCL invites agents to ‘Learn & Earn’ (and WIN) in new program

International cruising has well and truly returned. And a big comeback needs a big campaign (and hey, this is cruising after all). Enter Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL).

International cruising has well and truly returned. And a big comeback needs a big campaign (and hey, this is cruising after all). Enter Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL).

Commencing 1 May 2023, NCL will launch a new ‘Learn & Earn’ program for Australian and New Zealand travel trade partners to help advisors “Think NCL for International Cruises”.

Over three semesters, agents will have the opportunity to learn about different destinations – Asia, Americas and Europe – and to also upskill with quizzes, webinars and modules through NCL University (NCLU).

Furthermore, travel advisors will have the chance to win some cool prizes, including a $5,000 visa gift card, one of three cruise ship cabins, and an invitation to an exclusive ‘NCL Class of 2023’ party, where they will even score graduation hats.

Agents who complete their tasks will also be recognised on the NCL Honour Board, and after mastering the three unique destinations, earn double Partners First Rewards points on eligible bookings.

What’s more, CLIA Member graduates of NCL’s Class of 2023 will earn 20 CLIA Points towards their CLIA certificate levels.

To join in the fun, travel partners should first check to see if they have a login to Norwegian Central, the cruise line’s all-inclusive portal for trade training and resources, including NCLU.

The incentive is open to all travel partners, including those signing up to NCLU for the first time.

In March, NCL hosted its Travel Marketing Summit on board the Norwegian Spirit – and Karryon got an exclusive look at the special event.

Last month, the company also revealed that it will deploy three ships to the Asia Pacific region for the first time in 2024 and 2025.

After a three-year absence, NCL returned to Australasian waters over the summer cruise season.
