Insight Vacations has launched its new and exciting ‘Local Escapes’ collection, a selection of five carefully curated itineraries across Australia and New Zealand – offering guests everything they know and love about Insight, now closer to home.
The new trips
Clients who are ready to start travelling domestic and trans-Tasman can now book these close to home itineraries with Insight Vacations, visiting South Australia, Tasmania, Western Australia, and the North and South Islands of New Zealand.
Guests can expect access to many exclusive experiences that the general public would not be able to experience as an independent traveller, such as behind-the-scenes discoveries, giving back to local communities, VIP winery tours and unique local dining experiences.

Each itinerary will provide guests with an opportunity, not only to stimulate local economies, but to participate in a ‘Make Travel Matter’ experience.
The activity on each itinerary varies from visiting places that were devastated by the recent bushfires, visiting fire-affected koalas, understanding the importance of indigenous culture at Cape Naturaliste in WA, and contributing to reforestation efforts.
Health protocols
Insight Vacations has recently reviewed its health and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all guests. Coaches will seat a maximum of 22 passengers to ensure safe physical distancing along with enhanced hygiene measures on and off the coach, which will be managed seamlessly by Travel Directors.
