Celebrity Cruises has unveiled the brand-new, first-of-its-kind concept debuting on the upcoming Celebrity Xcel Edge Class ship, which aims to “seamlessly blend ship to shore” with festivals, regional cuisines, artisans and more on board.
The Bazaar is a three-storey space that will transform according to the ship’s destination and bring the music, traditions, cuisines and even festivals on board to extend passengers’ time “on shore”
It will include new eateries, such as the Mosaic open kitchen concept with the Chef’s Table experience and Chef’s Studio cooking classes, and the grab-and-go Spice café.

One of 2025’s most-anticipated ships, Celebrity Xcel will sail her inaugural season in November 2025 from Fort Lauderdale to the Bahamas, Mexico and the Caribbean, offering four Caribbean-inspired festivals.
When she sails to Europe in 2026, Celebrity Xcel will transform to feature festivals, markets and culinary experiences that reflect the Mediterranean.

Promising that no two days at The Bazaar will be the same, the multisensory space will transform daily to create immersive onboard and in-port experiences for cruisers.
These will range from local food and beverage offerings, crafting experiences, retail enrichment activations and destination-inspired cooking to dance classes, pop-up entertainment and performances from local musicians.

Cruisers also have the opportunity to vote for the new experiences they want on board Celebrity Xcel, including those offered at The Bazaar.

Celebrity Cruises President Laura Hodges Bethge said: “The Bazaar is a truly one-of-a-kind space designed to seamlessly blend ship and shore and transform the way guests experience destinations.”
“Celebrity Xcel intentionally extends the destination experience on board through a continued authentic offering between ports of call, allowing guests to take the destination with them.”
