2025 is shaping up to be an exciting year in cruising. Nine new ships are set to launch, each offering unique experiences for travellers. To help you stay ahead of client questions, Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) is hosting the 2025 Ocean Debut Virtual Showcase. Running from 3 to 7 February, this online series gives Australasian CLIA member agents an in-depth look at the standout features of these highly anticipated vessels.
Meet the new ships of 2025
Each session in the showcase will focus on one ship, with presentations covering key features such as dining, accommodation, entertainment, public spaces, and overall guest experience.
The nine ships featured include:
- MSC World America (MSC Cruises) – A ship blending European design with features tailored for the North American market.
- Star Seeker (Windstar) – An intimate boutique cruising experience, designed for travellers seeking a more personal journey.
- Norwegian Aqua (Norwegian Cruise Line) – A bold new addition to Norwegian’s fleet, focusing on modern design and family-friendly fun.
- Douglas Mawson (Aurora Expeditions) – A purpose-built vessel named after the Australian explorer, ideal for adventure-seekers exploring remote regions.
- Disney Adventure (Disney Cruise Line) – The first Disney Cruise Line ship to homeport in Asia, offering magical experiences for all ages.
- Allura (Oceania Cruises) – A ship showcasing luxurious design and a focus on exceptional culinary experiences.
- Star Princess (Princess Cruises) – A modern take on Princess Cruises’ legacy of elegance and sophistication.
- Celebrity Xcel (Celebrity Cruises) – Designed with sustainability and luxury in mind, offering voyages in the Mediterranean and the Caribbean.
- Star of the Seas (Royal Caribbean) – Poised to be one of the largest cruise ships in the world, packed with activities for families and thrill-seekers alike.
