Ditch the halo cruisers because there’s devilish play headed out to sea in November 2018 when Celebrity Cruises’ newest ship launches with some mildly naughty onboard entertainment.
Three months before Celebrity Edge (you know, the ship with the Magic Carpet) makes it debut, Celebrity Cruises has slipped a few fun details of the expected onboard experience, including the transformative venue called ‘Eden’ which delivers entertainment for the pure and the wicked.
Described as an ‘evolution’ for onboard entertainment, Eden transforms from a ‘chillful’ escape in the morning to a ‘playful’ zone in the afternoon and a ‘sinful’ area at night.
Oh Lucifer,? tell us more.
Cruises can wake up in Eden to meditation classes and enjoy lunch with an aerialist performance before experiencing Eve at Eden, a theatrical journey that’ll indulge “every sense and put guests at the centre of the experience, for a fusion of culinary exploration, performance art and nightlife”.
Guests who prefer a sultry throwback evening can head to The Club, another space that changes from an interactive family-fun space by day to a wicked 20s-inspired ‘undercover’ evening.
Get your Prohibition-glam on with secret 20s craft cocktails and an aerial saxophonist.
For a softer evening at sea, cruisers can head up to the Rooftop Garden to watch the Rooftop Concert Series or watch a flick during the Garden Cinema Series. There’s also The Theatre where performers spread across four stages and use moving projection screens, two rotating spiral staircases and laser projections to deliver shows such as A Hot Summer Night’s Dream, The Jewelry Box and Kaleidoscope.
And finally, younger cruisers will enjoy an updated Camp at Sea program with more than 500 activities, including Celebrity’s first youth coding experience at sea, and two completely separate contemporary spaces, one for the kids and one for the teens.
