Royal Caribbean has shared a sneak peek of Hideaway Beach for guests aged 18 years and over on its private island in the Bahamas, Perfect Day at CocoCay. The beachfront experience is due to open in January 2024 to coincide with the launch of Icon of the Seas.
Hideaway Beach will provide a tropical island getaway for adults only with entry from USD$39 – $89 (AUD$60 – $140), depending on the time of year, according to an RCI spokesperson.
Cruisers can enjoy a private beach and two heated infinity-edge pools, including a two-level swim-up bar. There’s also 20 poolside cabanas for up to eight guests to relax and chill out.
They can also kick back in seven open-air bars along with casual spots to grab a bite. Revellers can soak up live music and all-day DJ tunes.
There’s also a hidden VIP experience called The Hideout. This exclusive escape contains 10 reservation-only cabanas where guests can enjoy perks like a plunge pool for The Hideout guests only, dedicated attendant service, in-water loungers, an outdoor shower, resort-style seating and more.
Cruisers can access Perfect Day at CocoCay aboard 22 Royal Caribbean ships departing from ports in nine cities.
Guests can stop at Perfect Day at CocoCay on the new Utopia of the Seas, which debuts in July 2024 with three-night getaways up to seven nights on Icon of the Seas, setting sail in January 2024.
