Well, the reason we tell you this is because over the last year, despite little-to-no marketing in the Australian market and a range of impressive Aussie competitors, the brand has experienced a 68 percent growth in Aussie guests.
68 percent! How?!
Australian Sales Manager, Thomas Morgan, believes this increased attention comes from Riviera Travel’s point of differences such as fares that can be up to 50 percent lower than competitors, a range of options for solo travellers and not automatically including gratuities.
“We are clearly growing our footprint in the Australian market amongst some very strongly branded competitors but we know Australians love the way we do things differently.”

New business is GREAT news for the brand, but how does this benefit local Travel Agents?
Morgan said Riviera Travel is “100 percent committed” to Aussie consultants and is demonstrating this not only by offering COMMISSION but ensuring consumers can only book through Travel Agents via wholesalers Cruiseco and Cruise Traveller.

Meanwhile, over the next 12 months, Riviera Travel is planning to launch three new river ships (more product for consultants to sell & earn from). Itineraries for the additional vessels can be found in the recently released 2019 program.
