She was plucked and plunged and given an all new body and personality. But it’s not just her sleek frame that has us wanting more, because her insides are just as divine as her outside.
KarryOn went deep inside P&O’s newest vessel, Pacific Aria, for a few hours and came out truly appreciating her plump furnishings, soft bedding and flirty entertainment.
We wanted you to get the same explosive experience of Australia’s sexiest ship, so prepare your ‘O’ face and enjoy the ride.
She knows how to have a good time
Pacific Aria isn’t just a pretty face. Onboard she offers various entertainment options, such as two cutting-edge shows (Sideshow Alley and Twice Upon a Time – both choreographed in Australia), a casino, top deck white parties, live music venues, a premium cinema, P&O Adventure Park, and much, much more.
She gives you everything you need
With 630 rooms – including 120 balcony rooms, 28 suites with private balcony, and 1 penthouse suite, a kids club, a massive gym (spin class anyone?) and health spa, sports courts, duty-free shopping, multiple dining options (15 in total) – including Salt Grill by Luke Mangan, as well as Italian and Asian restaurants, and, last but not least, 10 bars, Pacific Aria is fitted to the brim with the kind of facilities passengers need on a cruise holiday.
She has an international flavour
Along with seeking inspiration from some of the trendiest bars and restaurants in Sydney, New York, London and other great cities around the world, P&O Cruises worked with a Swedish company on the new design of the ship. What you get with Pacific Aria is a distillation of some of the very best design elements from around the world, bringing them all in together under the one roof and creating a truly one-of-a-kind cruise ship.
Pacific Aria‘s sister ship Pacific Eden, both 55,820-tonnes and each carrying 1500 guests, together add a further 55 percent capacity into the market, and P&O Cruises are confident with the future growth of the cruising market in Australia.
“We have a lot of confidence in the market. We also have a lot of confidence in the travel agent community and our travel agent partners. We took them on board last night for a spin just outside the harbour with a little food, a little drink, and a little fun. Their response to Pacific Aria is abolsutley fantastic. They love the product, they love the ship, and I think we have something very special here.”
Sture Myrmell, Senior Vice President, P&O Cruises Australia
Pacific Aria and Pacific Eden join the 2000-guest 70,285-tonne Pacific Dawn, the 1950-guest 70,310-tonne Pacific Jewel and the 1800-guest 63,786-tonne Pacific Pearl in P&O Cruises’ fleet – all presently docked in Sydney Harbour. It’s a meeting of ships that’s never happened before.
