There may still be seven months until Legend of the Seas officially calls Brisbane home, but we’re so excited we thought we’d give you a little peak of what to expect when she arrives.
Officially arriving in December, Legend of the Seas will join Explorer of the Seas, Pacific Eden, Pacific Aria and Golden Princess as the newest vessels in the local fleet.
The 2,000-guest ship will be Royal Caribbean’s fourth vessel along with Explorer, Voyager of the Seas and Radiance of the Seas to sail from Australia during the coming wave season and first ever to cruise from Queensland.
During her five-month debut season, she will embark on 15 itineraries around Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.
Itineraries will vary from two- to- 18-nights and will contribute more than $24 million to the Queensland economy.
But before she kicks off the season, Legend will visit Brisbane, Airlie Beach and Sydney next month to give locals and agents a sneak peek of the vessel.
In the meantime, here’s a list of things we at KarryOn love about Legend of the Seas:
She is practically new
Legend of the Seas’ last refurbishment was in 2013 and cost the cruise line around $50 million.

Guests can expect high flying acrobats in the central Atrium during aerial shows.
You can get our hair ‘did’ here
Or you can eat your heart out here
And then burn it all off here
There’s chill-out time here
And of course here
Plus you can drop the kids off here
