They’ve battled it out learning about Guinness, Celtic history and ideal Game of Thrones getaways – but only one could be named Ireland’s Top Specialist.

And it is… Travel Associates’ Adriana Neil Stevens.

To be given the top honour, Adriana took on daily challenges against top performing agents from China, India, GCC, South Africa and New Zealand.

The challenges handed down by Tourism Ireland included sports, photography, food and social media challenges as well as a high tech treasure hunt around Dublin City.

Congratulations Adriana Neil Stevens.

Adriana was an early front runner in the competition, winning the video challenge, with her stunning footage of, Newgrange, Ireland’s oldest passage tomb.

She went on to cement her winning status by taking second place in the, Gaelic Games hurling challenge, with an impressive ‘Poc Fada’, or long puck in English.

It was an action packed ten days for these top performers who began their journey exploring Belfast and the breathtaking Causeway Coast before heading southwards along Ireland’s newest tourist trail – the Ancient East, stopping to enjoy sights, top attractions and tasting Irish delicacies along the way.

Highlights included the world’s largest Titanic visitor attraction, Titanic Belfast, the Irish National Stud & Gardens and the world famous Guinness Storehouse. Accommodation was sublime, food very yummy and ‘everything was just so WOW!’ said one agent.

Questions have been changed on the Ireland Specialists training programme, giving current members and silver certified agents another opportunity to earn a Gold Ireland Specialists certificate and attend the 2016 Ireland Specialist Mega Fam trip.
