Discover Qatar has added three new sport-oriented options to its Transit Tours range, including a World Cup Stadiums Tour as the country looks to capitalise on its hosting of the recent FIFA World Cup 2022.
Passengers with a minimum eight hours’ transit time in Qatar can now embark on an exclusive guided coach tour of five FIFA football venues, while transit visitors with at least four hours can play squash and try golf simulator sessions at an airport hotel.
The exclusive World Cup Stadiums transit tour takes tourists across Qatar’s leading state-of-the-art stadiums and costs USD$42 per adult, $21 per child under 12 and free for kids under two.
It includes an exterior visit to five FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 venues: Al Thumama, Education City, Khalifa International, Lusail Iconic Stadium and the innovative Stadium 974 before its permanent disassembly.

Passengers transiting for four hours or more can enjoy two hours of squash at Oryx Airport Hotel within Hamad International Airport for USD$25 per adult.
The Discover Qatar Squash tour includes access to showers at Vitality Wellbeing & Fitness Center at Oryx Airport Hotel and all equipment.
Golf fans can also tee off while waiting for their connecting flight at Hamad International Airport with Oryx Airport Hotel’s state-of-the-art simulator.
The Discover Qatar Golf tour includes one-hour access to the Golf Simulator in the Vitality Wellbeing & Fitness Center at Oryx Airport Hotel for USD$33 per person.
