From 7 April 2022, Fiji’s borders will be open to all countries of the World, with vaccinated arrivals no longer needing to complete the 72-hour resort quarantine.

There are big changes in Fiji from today, with the country simplifying entry requirements to make it even easier to visit.

The 333 island nation is now offering quarantine-free travel to fully-vaccinated travellers from all over the world.

To travel to Fiji, all you need to do is show evidence of the following at check-in before your international flight:

  • Proof of vaccination
  • A negative pre-departure rapid test no later than 24 hours before departure
  • Travel insurance
  • Booking confirmation for a Rapid Test on Day 2 of arrival

Rapid Tests will now need to be booked ONLINE prior to departure. You can do this right here.

Tourism Fiji says that guests can holiday safely and enjoy the best of Fiji knowing that, when sticking to Care Fiji Committed businesses, everyone they encounter will be fully vaccinated.

CEO Brent Hill said Fiji had been waiting for this moment.

“We’ve been waiting for this moment for two years, and I can assure visitors that Fiji is ready to welcome you back safely for two-way quarantine-free travel with our Care Fiji Commitment.

“Fiji is well and truly open for happiness, and we can’t wait to give them the holiday that they all deserve right now,” he said.

Following the exciting opening of the newly transformed Sheraton Fiji Golf & Beach Resort, Sheraton Denarau Villas followed suit to officially re-open their doors to guests on 1 April, after a two-year closure.

“We’re thrilled to be re-opening Sheraton Denarau Villas to guests again after a two-year closure,” said Mr Neeraj Chadha, Multi-Property Vice President Fiji & Samoa, Marriott International and General Manager of Westin & Sheraton Resorts, Fiji Complex.

“The Villas are such an important part of our offering, and it is wonderful to welcome back large groups of friends and family to enjoy the beautiful Denarau Island in their own private villas.”

With the removal of resort quarantine, favourite hotels reopening, and from April 18, arrivals into Australia no longer needing to show a negative PCR or RAT to board a flight, international travel is looking bright once more.
