Last night some of the best inland tourism operators around Australia were congratulated for making it as finalists in this year’s Travel In Inland Tourism Awards (INTA).

In 2015, around 51 finalists across 19 categories representing four regional tourism areas – Central, Inland, Murray and Riverina – were recognised for their excellence in tourism.

From NSW, 20 inland operators were named finalists, an achievement Inland NSW CEO said represented their commitment to building their business.

Meanwhile, Inland NSW today started rolling out its Inland NSW digital platform, ‘Travel In’.

Dubbed a ‘game changing online destination’, it’s designed to help attract more visitors to regional NSW through a breadth of information and images.

“Travel In is a new game changing online destination which will help attract more visitors to regional NSW.

“It will make it easier for people to find the information they need to plan and book a holiday and easier for businesses to connect with the people who are looking to explore the region.”

Graham Perry, Inland NSW CEO

“Instead of having to visit dozens of different websites, travellers will be able to go to one for the answers they seek: Travel In (www.travelin.com.au).”
