The lights have officially been switched off on Vivid Sydney 2016 after a record-breaking 23 nights of music, colour and festivals.

According to Destination NSW, this year’s festival of light, music and ideas has been dubbed the “best ever”, with displays in more locations than ever before and more events for local, interstate and international visitors to see and do.

Among the more popular attractions at Vivid Sydney 2016 included The Cathedral of Light at the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney, Songlines on the Sails of the Sydney Opera House, Be the Light for the Wild at Taronga Zoo, and the world-record setting Dress Circle installation.
