Good times await in Grapevine: Qantas returns to Texas on 16 February

Grapevine, Texas has been committed to the Australasian market for the past two years and is super excited to welcome you and your clients back from 16th February, as Qantas resumes flights to DFW airport.

Officially recognised as a World Festival & Event City by the International Festival & Events Association, Grapevine, Texas has welcomed nearly two million visitors to the city’s festivals and events each year. 

Grapevine’s attractions offer an incredible variety of things to do and see. Check out our dynamic map for plenty of opportunities to find fun in Grapevine. From high-energy shows and classic movies to historic train excursions and family favourites such as LEGOLAND® Discovery Center and SEA LIFE Grapevine Aquarium, and so much more.


When you’re in Grapevine, there is always something to do! With 17 major festivals and events each year, along with programs at Nash Farm, Grapevine Vintage Railroad, the Palace Theatre, and Grapevine’s Museums, it’s practically impossible to not discover something to do in Grapevine!

Lovers of the Great Outdoors can explore one of the city’s many hiking trails, picnic in a neighborhood park, take in some water fun at Lake Grapevine and shop at Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World, a 200,000-square-foot megastore dedicated to the great outdoors.

Qantas ‘Quokka’ Dreamliner 787-9

From 16th February 2022, Qantas will be commencing 4 weekly return services in February and March and increasing to 6 flights from April 2022 onwards. 

The return brings with it an aircraft change. This route was always synonymous with the A380. However, from this date, you’ll spot Qantas’ Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner over the skies of Texas.

The schedule is as follows:
