Luxury Queensland property InterContinental Hayman Island Resort is launching a new series of ‘Signature Events’, starting with an Elevate Wellness Weekend between 27-30 October, 2023.
Located at the northernmost point of the Whitsunday archipelago, the resort will offer attendees immersive wellness experiences designed to focus on mind, body and spirit.
The decision to launch the new event series with a wellness-themed weekend “made sense on so many levels”, according to Arpad Romandy, InterContinental Hayman Island Resort General Manager.

The program
The three-day Elevate Wellness Weekend will run in partnership with wellness group, ‘Vibrate Your Mind’. The program will centre around a ‘transformative journey’ towards holistic wellness and serenity, utilising sound, music, yoga, meditation and breathwork practices.
Program facilitators include former INXS front man and Grammy award-nominated songwriter, Ciaran Gribbin. He will be joined by world leading meditation facilitator and recording artist Susan Quirke and also sound healer and kinesiologist Matty Rainbow, as well as yogini Seriya Cutbush.
The trio will lead meditation sessions, sound healing and breathwork sessions, yoga, one-on-one songwriting sessions. Gribbin will also perform INXS songs in an ‘Intimate and Unplugged’ session.
The resort’s newly-opened Elemis Hayman Spa will run special offers, while the culinary team will offer menus with a focus on healthy and sustainable eating.
Part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, InterContinental Hayman Island Resort, reopened in 2019 after a $135m renovation. In September 2022, the resort extended its luxury offering by opening 12 ultra-luxury and adults-only beachfront pavilion suites.
Rates for the Elevate Wellness Weekend will start from $4,199 for single occupancy.
