The InterContinental brand evolution is tailored to the traveller of tomorrow with new offerings and experiences and a fresh food and beverage and hotel design strategy.

This includes introducing a new Timeshifter jetlag app with NASA tech and a science-based food and beverage initiative aimed at reducing travel fatigue.

New Concierge Galleries in hotel lobbies bring together interactive displays, library spaces and informative features such as art installations or designer pop-ups. 

For the trend towards marking micro-occasions, InterContinental will also unveil Celebration Suites – spaces designed for small, bespoke events – and an Incredible Occasions program.

Global Head of Design for Luxury Brands Melissa Messmer added: “Each hotel or resort is an experience-driven bespoke concept, tied together by our new Design Pillars that form the strength of our brand design style, ‘Cultivated Elegance’.”

InterContinental has 93 new hotels and resorts in the pipeline and reopened its Sydney property last year.
