LUXE HOUND: The Parisian Hotel where dogs are treated like Royalty

One of the finest hotels in Paris, La Reserve, is not just a luxurious respite for wealthy travellers, it's also a pamper palace for your pooch.

One of the finest hotels in Paris, La Reserve, is not just a luxurious respite for wealthy travellers, it’s also a pamper palace for your pooch.

La Reserve, which is located in the fashionable eighth arrondissement and overlooks the City of Love, is the former mansion of Pierre Cardin.

Here in this forty-room boutique space, you’ll find it’s not just those of the two-legged variety that are totally spoiled, our four-legged friends are also treated like royalty.

Forget letting your hound drink from filthy dog bowls filled with questionable water, oh no, no. Here they will be sipping Evian from specially supplied bowls and lounging back on pillows, awaiting the butler to bring the menu.

Doggie meals aren’t cheap here at thirty-six euros a pop. Doggie guests here are totally spoiled canine gourmands.

Canine couture is a culture here. Dogs can be found in cashmere sweaters, designer sunglasses and collars lined with precious stones.

Designer pet outfitter ‘Mungo and Maud’ even offered a pop up during Paris Fashion Weel to salvage any embarrassing faux pas such as having your dog turn up in a fringe blanket coat when everyone else is in optical prints. CRIMINAL.

If that’s not enough for the hound of your heart, remember Paris is also home to pup perfumes and specially tailored food for dietary requirements. Your gluten-free puppy will be safe in Paris.

La Reserve is perfect for these purebreds as it just around the corner from the boutique-lined rue du Faubourg St-Honoré.

Now that’s a dog’s life!
