itravel is making it easier for mobile travel advisors to make the move to a bricks-and-mortar presence with the official launch of Franchilli.
Designed for mobile agents looking to scale without the normal overheads of a traditional franchise, Franchilli allows advisors to transition from home-based operations to franchise store ownership, while itravel handles back-office tasks, marketing, social media and website management.
The travel agency network says the new model offers advisors increased visibility and revenue potential with minimal costs.
According to the group, Franchilli also helps separate work from home life and supports scalable growth. The new initiative joins the network’s other models, including Mobile, Hybrid Mobile, Franchise, LUXE and Link Affiliate.
“We were hearing that mobile advisors were wanting to transition to a franchise store, but were hesitant about the complicated set up” itravel CEO Steve Labroski said.
“At itravel, we are continuously innovating to provide solutions that meet our members’ evolving needs.
“Franchilli gives advisors a significant opportunity to scale their businesses with our comprehensive support,” he added.
Christine Kelly, Owner and Managing Director of itravel Camden (NSW), which opened in April 2024, lauded the group’s support during the transformation of her business.
“itravel made the transition from mobile advisor to retail store incredibly seamless. It’s allowed me to scale my business without the weight of additional costs and back-end operations,” she remarked.
Therese Oliver of itravel Naracoorte, which opened in October 2023, added, “Franchilli made the switch from mobile to franchise a breeze”.
“Not only did the transition go smoothly, but having a franchise location has really boosted my visibility in the local area. I’m thrilled with the results,” she said.
In September, itravel hosted agent members and key trade partners at an exclusive iLEARN: LiVE 2024 event, offering supplier presentations and insights along with networking opportunities and a team-building activity for an afternoon out at Sydney’s The Theatre Bar.
