Karryon Luxury: Be among the first to know as we prepare for launch in early 2024

Launching our dedicated Karryon Luxury vertical early in 2024, be among the first to subscribe and engage with the latest in-depth luxury travel trade news.

Launching our dedicated Karryon Luxury vertical early in 2024, be among the first to subscribe and engage with the latest in-depth luxury travel trade news.

In 2023, Karryon celebrated ten successful years of operations. Now, as we enter our second decade of connecting people together in travel, we have evolved our current content offering to introduce a new luxury travel vertical to complement our existing storytelling.

In September 2023, Karryon recruited Katrina Holden, an experienced former luxury travel magazine editor and writer, to the newly-created role of Editorial Director, Luxury.

As well as overseeing the existing Karryon editorial team, Holden will also be involved – along with Founder Matt Leedham and General Manager Dani Tuffield – on the positioning of the Karryon Luxury vertical as it continues to expand.

“So many of our readers have been asking us for a more dedicated focus on the luxury sector to enable them to capitalise on the vast opportunity premium travel represents. With an editor of Katrina’s calibre recently joining Karryon, we’re extremely excited to evolve the brand and launch our new luxury vertical in early 2024,” says Leedham.

“We’ll also have many more new luxury initiatives to come, all of which contribute to Karryon’s overarching vision of being the leading trade platform and community by connecting people together in travel.”

Covering all aspects of luxury travel news and features, our new vertical will sit within karryon.com.au in its own dedicated section.

The website is currently undergoing a revamp, with modifications to its design and functionality, to ensure the optimal user experience for Karryon’s loyal audience across mobile and desktop.

We are already underway reporting on luxury travel news, developments and trends across several core categories – cruise, wellness, hotels and resorts, culture, air travel, rail, regenerative travel, culinary, and touring.

To ensure expert coverage in the fast-growing cruise category, particularly in the luxury area, we recently appointed expert cruise writer Sally Macmillan as a regular cruise contributor alongside various other expert writers worldwide.

As with the existing Karryon coverage and story formats, Karryon Luxury will report on:

  • The latest news (people, places, products)
  • Listicles and round-ups
  • Interviews, commentary and opinion pieces
  • Luxury trend stories
  • Travel with purpose stories
  • Profiles of members of the trade, luxury travel advisors, and changemakers
  • First-person editorial reviews (destination, hotels, cruise, air, tours)
  • Luxury travel advisor intelligence (fam/trip news, incentives, updates, events, trade shows and conferences etc.)
  • Partner content opportunities
