Travel agency network Link Travel Group continues to grow, adding a new member, Expedition Partners, from Melbourne.
Expedition Partners is set to join Link Travel Group on 1 October 2024, and will thereafter have access to the network’s travel supply, technology and streamlined business operations.
Specialising in luxury cruise and rail journeys, Expedition Partners is highly regarded in the industry, says Link Travel Group’s General Manager Scott Darlow, who also praised the agency’s ambitious growth plans.
“From our first meeting, it was obvious that Expedition Partners were always going to be a perfect fit for Link,” he said.
“The Link board and I were very impressed by the drive and vision of the team, led by Simon Flower, and their business principles run parallel with Link’s core values.
“It was an easy decision for Link as we’re extremely confident that Expedition Partners will be a great member.
“We look forward to a bright future with this business as part of our tight-knit collective,” Darlow added.
Expedition Partners Managing Director Simon Flower said, “We are very humbled to have been invited to join Link and work alongside such respected agencies in the industry who we share common goals and ambitions with”.
“Our decision to join Link was an easy one, and all my team are excited to now have access to Australia’s widest range of supply, industry-leading technologies and collaborative like minds.
“We are extremely excited for our future with Link Travel Group.”
In August, Link visited luxury and corporate travel member agencies in Perth, Melbourne and Sydney for a series of Product Maximisation Events designed to upskill owners, managers and advisors and unlock its network revenue-boosting opportunities.
Earlier this year, Link Travel Group unveiled several new members in a big boost to its portfolio.
