Charting new paths: First Link Travel Group Owners Retreat kicks off

Link Travel Group member agencies and their partners have convened for their inaugural “Owners Retreat”, hosted at Mount Lofty House and Sequoia Lodge in the Adelaide Hills.

Link Travel Group member agencies and their partners have convened for their inaugural “Owners Retreat”, hosted at Mount Lofty House and Sequoia Lodge in the Adelaide Hills.

Over the next two days, attendees will wine and dine, reflect on the past year, and look honestly at Link Travel Group’s future strategies.

The retreat commences with a welcome dinner on Friday afternoon, followed by in-depth business discussions on Saturday that will feature a working lunch courtesy of sponsor Virgin Australia.

Alongside these meetings, partners can indulge in signature spa treatments and yoga classes at Mount Lofty Estate.

Saturday is dedicated to activities that emphasise Link’s core values of connection and collaboration.

The day will conclude with an intimate bonfire hosted by the owners of Mount Lofty House, complete with hot chocolate, marshmallows and port, supported by Globus Family of Brands.

The retreat will wrap up on Sunday with an exclusive tour of the Penfolds Estate, including a Grange Experience, hosted by Adelaide-based Bunnik Tours.

“The excitement amongst the owners is obvious today as we head to our inaugural Owners Retreat,” Link General Manager Scott Darlow said.

“Link has core values that guide the business … integrity, connection, collaboration and transparency are key core values, and all of these will be on display for our owners to view, experience and participate in.

“Personally, I am very excited to present and review Link’s first year with our business partners and share our future plans and strategies with them all.”

Link Travel Group Chairperson Danielle Galloway said, “Our business owners are in for an incredibly special experience this weekend, walking away with a solid plan for the future, celebrating an enormously successful first year and enjoying time with our large family of likeminded and passionate people, who are valued for their contribution”.

“Connection and collaboration will be highly elevated over the next few days and I’m excited to hear the business ideas and knowledge sharing that our business owners are renowned for.”

Last month, the group’s board met in Brisbane to mark an “amazing” start-up year and to farewell an inaugural director.
