Londoners Can Get Trollied At Their Front Door With easyJet Delivery

With much of the UK population missing out on holidays abroad this year, easyJet hopes to bring some of the fun of flying to people’s homes this winter.

This December, to celebrate easyJet’s 25th birthday, the airline is launching the world’s first inflight trolley service available by home delivery.

Londoners will be getting a taste of holiday feels with perfectly made up Cabin Crew turning up on their doorstep serving crips, olives, prosecco, and more.

Because, what’s better than hanging out on your doorstep in your PJs sipping on a freshly poured glass of bubbles, talking about flying?

Sounds cool, what’s the deal?

The full ‘Cabin Trolley Home Delivery’ service will see fully uniformed easyJet cabin crew arriving at doors across the capital, wheeling an inflight cabin trolley.

Members of the public can book a slot online to be served their favourite tipple, and a choice of tasty in-flight snacks – with crew observing social distancing, of course.

Ahead of flights getting back to normal next year easyJet see the initiative as a fun way to keep the cabin crew ‘match-fit’.

Drinks will be complimentary – with customers being asked to make a small donation to Age UK.

“Our cabin crew provide a fantastic service for our customers in the air but while they are not flying as much we have the ideal opportunity to provide our famous inflight service on the ground. And through this trial I’m pleased to see that our crew are able to deliver a bit of holiday cheer to homes this Christmas.”

Johan Lundgren, CEO at easyJet

Natasha Graydon at Deliveroo said “If there’s one thing we’ve missed this year it’s that feeling of boarding a plane, getting settled into your seats and toasting the holiday ahead as you jet off to a faraway location.

‘That’s why we’re delighted to be working with easyJet to recreate some of that holiday magic at home this Christmas.”
